| Explanation for removal of dreams |
My apologies to all those who have shown interest in the dreams and their possible prophetic meanings. I myself have found them and their potential possibilities to be of interest. However, I have done so not without struggle within myself over whether to share them in the public domain or not; without knowing whether they are meant for personal encouragement, or whether meant for public enlightenment.
But I have concluded that as an apologists (a defender of the Faith), that my responsibility is to present to the general public why the Messianic Faith is the one that they should embrace as opposed to other belief systems. This requires the ability for me as an apologist to be able to find some firm and solid and verifiable foundation in the past that I can sink an anchor into to build or reconstruct a doctrinal position or defense from.
Dreams have no such foundation in the past that I as an apologist can sink an anchor into to be able to say "this dream is prophetic because", or "this dream is not prophetic because"; for dreams by nature are entirely future in their tense with no anchor point in the past.
It is well documented that people dream every night, with the vast super majority of them having no prophetic value whatsoever; but rather being simply a product of the thoughts of the subconscious. Likewise, the Scriptures state that the mind is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked; Yerem’yahu (Jeremiah) 17:9. So who can trust the product of the mind?
In Yerem’yahu (Jeremiah) 14:14 and 23:25, 26, 32 Yahuweh rebukes the people for declaring their dreams as prophetic, and for declaring the deceptive thoughts of their minds as prophecy.
I have seen these same things take place in our generation, and it runs rampant in the church; which is why I have made it a point to say these dreams are only "possibly" prophetic and to state clearly that they are not "thus saith Yahuweh" dreams, for in my mind, the only way to know whether a dream is prophetic, or not, is to wait and see if it comes to pass.
But my friends, this is outside of the realm of the work of an apologist. As an apologist I find it nerve racking to have to sit around and what for a dream to come to pass to know whether it was prophetic or not. I deal with the practical and the provable relative to firm foundations already laid and verifiable in the past. In a nutshell, if I cannot research it, then I am not interested in it.
So though my dreams have indeed been interesting, and do not appear to be the product of my subconscious, I have elected to remove them from the public forum.
Because there is no way to anchor them to any solid foundation of the past, it is impossible to verify whether the dreams are from Yahuweh, or simply products of my subconscious, and therefore are outside of the realm of apologetics.
Our ministry is one of apologetics, and so the dreams, despite any potential they might have, do not fit the criteria required for placement within our site.
Again, my apologies to all those who have found them to be of interest, but they are just outside the criteria of this website, and outside of the realm of my calling as an apologist.
