Shalom, welcome to TNT - the Torah and the Testimony Revealed.
If you were here last session, you’ll recall the main subject being about the word, and about how the Testimony of Yeshua and of the Torah of God relates to it. And about how the word of God which has been here from the beginning will be here for all eternity. And how our word is in opposition to His word; and how we who believe must bring our word into alignment with His.
Let me emphasize at this point the importance of word harmony, because there is nothing in existence, whether good or evil, that did not have its beginnings with a spoken word. The word, in fact, is the most powerful active force in the universe - and it, is, invisible.
Think of that for a moment. That which cannot be seen with the eyes just happens to be the most powerful force in creation. We can hear it, but we can’t see it.
I find that interesting, because the Scriptures say that faith comes from hearing, and Yeshua, interestingly enough, rebukes those who say they will only have faith if they can see evidence with their eyes.
Why would Yeshua rebuke those who want to see before they’ll believe? Because their dependence on sight for faith is the evidence of their lack of faith in that which they have heard. Of their lack of faith in that which has already been spoken.
Like Yeshua said to T’oma (Thomas), because you have seen the piercing of my hands and side, you have believed; but blessed are those who have not seen, but have believed. Yahchanan (John) 20:29.
This reminds me of the Harry Potter/Pokeman rage. It’s amazing how many professing believers don’t see the evil in these things, or for that matter, the evil in Halloween.
Take Harry Potter for example. There are people out there who actually don’t believe Harry Potter is evil, and who will not believe it unless you can prove it to them. So what do the churches do? Cater to their unbelief by producing video’s that clearly identify Harry Potter with witchcraft, including exposing them to the spells and incantations, and showing them the inner workings of real life covens.
The result? Now the skeptics in the congregation who previously knew nothing about witchcraft, now know enough about witchcraft to go out and start their own coven. It’s like taking a person who doesn’t really believe that sexual immorality is wrong, and showing them videos on pornography to convince them of it.
Now for some, the video might actually repulse them, or scare them enough to where they will have nothing to do with pornography. But for the brother or sister who has an unknown weakness in this area, this type of video will feed that weakness in them. A weakness that they may not even realize they had until they had that word of evil placed before their eyes to contaminate them.
This is the ultimate consequence to some when we take the approach of catering to those who doubt, rather than just believing that what Yahuweh has said is true.
And concerning those who do believe, the word of Yahuweh is indeed sufficient. If Yahuweh states that witchcraft is a sin, and utterly detestable to Him; and that witchcraft is not to be allowed in His community, then for the believer, that word of truth is sufficient. And this simple word of truth to those who believe does not feed any weaknesses towards evil within them; but rather, strengthens them in their faith against those weaknesses.
Exposure to a word, whether good or evil, is what forms the human conscience. We are to expose ourselves and others to the word of Scripture only, not to the word of evil.
Let us guard our gates and set no evil before our eyes, or before the eyes of others; but only that which is holy, and just, and good. For to educate a skeptic is to just produce an educated skeptic. And in the process of educating the skeptic of evil, weak brothers and sisters fall who would have been strengthened by simply knowing the will of Yahuweh through Scripture.
So how do we deal with these types of issues like Harry Potter, Pokeman, and witchcraft?
We do it by exposing people to the word. To the all powerful word of Yahuweh. Forget the video’s that contain words of darkness within them. Instead, break open the dusty bibles on the shelves and put the word of Yahuweh to work; for it is powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword.
For I tell you in Truth, if a person will not hear the word of God (of God), then neither will they see the video. That is, if they will not receive what they hear spoken from the word - then neither will they receive what they have seen from a video.
In D’varim (Deuteronomy) 18:10,11 the word states,
18:10 “…there shall not be found among you anyone who …practices witchcraft, or soothsaying, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, “
18:11 “or one who cast spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead.”
The word goes on to state in verses 18:12-14, that all who do these things are detestable to Yahuweh, and that it is because of these detestable practices that He is going to drive out the nations from before us. That we are to be blameless concerning these matters, and that He did not appoint us to partake in such things.
In Shemoth (Exodus) 19:5,6 Yahuweh states that if we will obey His voice, and be faithful to His covenant, that we shall be a special treasure to Him above all people, and shall be to Him a Kingdom of priests and a holy nation.
In Galatians 5:19-21, Rav Shaul (Rabbi Paul) says,
5:19 “Now, the works of the flesh are evident - adultery, pre-marital sexual relations, self-contamination, unrestrained violation of Torah (unrestrained sin),
5:20 idol worship, sorcery (which is witchcraft), hatefulness, argumentativeness, jealousy, rage, selfish-pursuit, causing divisions through quarreling, spreading teachings that are contrary to Scripture,
5:21 envy, murder, drunkenness and orgies. And I tell you beforehand, as even I have told you in the past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of Heaven.”
Yes, that’s right. Rav Shaul said this. So much for heresy of the Law (the Torah) done away theology; Romans 2:8, for everything Rav Shaul just taught came straight out of the Torah. And sorcery and witchcraft are among those things he says will prevent us from entering the Kingdom of Yahuweh.
In Revelation 21:8, it states that the fear driven, the skeptical, the detestable, the murderous, the sexually immoral, the witches and the sorcerers, the idol worshippers, and all liars shall have their place in the lake of fire.
And in Revelation 22:14,15 it is written,
22:14 “Blessed are those who obey His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter through the gates into the city.
22:15 For outside are those of vile character, and the practicers of sorcery, the sexually immoral, murderers, idol worshippers, and those who love and practice lies.”
But Yahuweh is calling us out of these things. He wants good things for us - for everybody. But there are always those who have no remorse or conscience about their wickedness. Those who are incapable of repentance, regardless of what good thing Yahuweh does for them.
Destruction of their ways, and separation into eternal darkness are their end reward. But for those who struggle to overcome their sins, Yahuweh has established His covenant of mercy with them forever.
In I Kepha (I Peter) 2:9, the Scriptures state that those who believe and repent Yahuweh is calling out as a chosen generation, as a royal priesthood, as a set-apart nation, and as special people to Him. And who, if counted worthy to be raised at the first resurrection, will reign over the earth with Yeshua as kings and as priests for a 1,000 years.
And it is not about us versus them. For we have all been in the “them” group at one time or another. We have all been in bondage to sin, and allowed evil to contaminate our thoughts.
No, it is about those who hate the evil in themselves, and who fight and struggle to overcome it, versus those who take pleasure in the evil within themselves, and strive to feed it and nurture it.
It is those who repent, versus those who do not repent - for all are guilty of evil. But to those who hear the word which was spoken from the beginning, and who believe what they have heard, there is in store for them a crown of life, and a crown of victory, given for all their sins overcome in this life.
To the Torah and the Testimony, if anyone does not speak in unity with these words it is because they have no light in them; Yesh'yahu (Isaiah) 8:16-20.
Yes, Yeshua is calling us to overcome this world and its influences, and to overcome the sins of our flesh. He is calling us to obey the Torah of His Father; and Yahuweh our Father is calling us to believe the Testimony of His Son as the payment for our sins.
I have declared the word to you this day - that witchcraft, sorcery, spell casting, speaking to the dead, practicing magic, fortune telling, and all associated crafts are sin.
To emulate, allow oneself to be entertained by, to endorse, or to practice, or to follow the example of Harry Potter or Pokemon characters, or other such cartoons, characters, and toys, is to do that which is utterly detestable to Yahuweh; and a grave sin against the path of life. They are not of the word, have never been of the word, and shall never be of the word, or of those who are faithful followers of the word.
They are of contrary knowledge, and of haSatan, the Contrary One. Believe the word and live, or perish with the lie and die.
Only truth is eternal. The word of Yahuweh is truth. The Scriptures state in II Corinthians 6:14,
6:14 “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with Torah violation, and what communion has light with darkness?
Light scatters darkness and cannot be absorbed by the night. If we are of the light, then we will not take part in the darkness. All violation of Torah is darkness. And if darkness is in you - how great is that darkness?
No one who believes can partake of the cup of Yeshua and of the cup of demons. Believers cannot eat at the table of Yeshua and at the table of demons.
We are called to be a people set-apart and untainted by the kingdom of haSatan. It is written, that haSatan is the god of this world; II Corinthians 4:4, the prince of the powers of the air [interestingly enough, electricity and aeronautics are powers of the "air" harnessed from the atmosphere in these latter times that the whole of modern society is founded upon] Ephesians 2:1,2; and that the whole world is deceived by him; Revelation 12:9.
Our bodies are the Temple of the Ruach haKadosh (Holy Spirit) I Corinthians 6:19,20. As such, we are to honor, exalt and magnify Yahuweh in our bodies, in our words, and in our lifestyles.
Whoever, therefore, defiles the Temple of Yahuweh, Yahuweh shall destroy; I Corinthians 3:16,17.
We are ambassadors of the Kingdom of Yahuweh to come; I Corinthians 5:20; of the Torah based Kingdom to come; Yesh'yahu [Isaiah] 2:1-4. And are to conduct ourselves as active citizens in His Kingdom, the Constitution of which is wholly, and entirely, Torah.
Whoever defiles the Temple of their body, which is the Temple and dwelling place of the Ruach haKadosh (Holy Spirit), that person will be cut off from the people and destroyed.
For those willing to consciously and deliberately defile their Temple in this world, will be willing to defile it in the next. For he who is faithful in little, is faithful in much; and he who transgresses in much, will be faithful in little.
Whatever character and spirit we are of in this life, is what character and spirit we will be in the next. How we treat that which is set-apart in this life, is the same that we will treat that which is set-apart in the next.
Woe to those who love darkness rather than light.
But blessed are those who use the word to cleanse the temples of their defiled bodies, and who use the word to keep it cleansed and set-apart for use by Yahuweh. Blessed are those who have immersed themselves, and bathed themselves, in the water of the word.
You know my friends, my brothers, my sisters, how powerful and wonderfully cleansing, and purifying, the word has been and will continue to be in our lives.
To acknowledge the word by assent only, is not sufficient to revive us. Our confession must be put into force in our life through action; for we can receive the full benefit of our confession only when we apply the word according to its instruction.
Let me give an example.
On a previous broadcast I went live and was taking callers, but I was unable to get any of the calls to come through. I pushed this button and that button, and tried this line and that line, but nothing was coming through.
Ultimately, one of the staff had to take down the name of the caller for me, and write down their question for me, as well as the verse that they were quoting as the basis for their question. This alternative method worked out quite well.
So while the first method of forwarding the live call to the switch board in my studio did not work at all, the second method of forwarding the name, question, and Scripture to me via a written note worked perfectly.
Why did one method work, but not the other? Because of the word. It was #1, how the word of instruction was transmitted to me, and #2, how the word of instruction was interpreted by me.
You see, how the word is transmitted, and how the word is received, is critical in determining to what degree the word is going to be able to benefit me and those around me.
In the case of the switch board, my knowledge of switchboards was very limited. This lack of knowledge, in turn, limited my ability to fully comprehend the instructions initially given to me - despite the fact that the word of instruction on how to operate the switchboard was simple. That is, if a light blinks, then push the button below it.
It certainly sounded simple. There was only one problem. When I pushed the button below the blinking light, as I was instructed, nothing happened. Why was that? It is because knowledge is of two voices. One, the voice of truth, and the other, the voice of error.
In this case, the word given to me had been the voice of error - not intentional error, bless her heart. But an error caused by lack of knowledge on her part as well as on my part.
And what was that piece of knowledge that was lacking from her?
Well, you see, on my switchboard there are not one, but two, rows of buttons that can be pushed; and that piece of knowledge, that little piece of the word that was missing in her instruction to me, was the simple fact that calls can only be forwarded to, and answered from, the top row of buttons.
Yes, the instruction given to me was that the calls would be forwarded to the bottom row; and that I was to push the bottom row of buttons only. She told me the exact opposite of the truth! And the error had been perpetuated wholly and entirely, unintentionally, and in ignorance.
And I received it, wholly and entirely, in ignorance, believing it to be the truth - though in fact, it was the voice of error.
And this is precisely what has happened within the churches of Christianity, and in the synagogues of Judaism. The voice of Truth once known, practiced, and taught, by Avraham, revived through Moshe, preserved by the Southern kingdom of Judah, and perfected through Yeshua and His emissaries (apostles), has been replaced with the voice of error. The result being Christian theology (churchianity), and rabbinical/contemporary Judaism.
The Church through the voice of error has replaced Pesach with Ishtar and her egg laying Ishtar bunny; replaced the 7th day Shabbat with the first day of sun worship; replaced the fall feasts with Halloween, Thanksgiving and harvest festivals; and replaced Chanukah with the Roman Saturnine festival dubbed as “Christmas” by the Roman Catholic Church. And the Torah they have rejected and replaced with the traditions and doctrines of Catholic and Protestant theology.
Likewise, present day Judaism has failed to recognize, and completely rejected Yeshua as the Messiah, removed the Name of Yahuweh from among our nation, and from among our people; contaminated the kosher food supply with chemicals, preservatives, and additives; replaced the Torah with rabbinical traditions too burdensome for most to bear; and replaced the agricultural/moon calendar with the pagan Hillel calendar.
The institutions of Christian theology and rabbinical/contemporary Judaism have taken the true, vibrant, life giving, blessed religion of Almighty Yahuweh and turned it into a tomb for the masses.
They have made merchandise out of His word, and made it so difficult for people to hear the fullness of His word that only a very small remnant has been able to retain it and perpetuate it. But perpetuate His word we will.
The lie is being exposed. The lie is coming to an end. And all those who believe and perpetuate the lie will, likewise, come to an end.
The word is only of benefit to us if we speak it in truth, and believe it in truth. As it states in Romans 10:14-18,
10:14 How can anyone call on Yeshua if they do not believe in Him; and how can they believe in Him if they have not heard of Him; and how can they hear of Him without a teacher;
10:15 and how can the teacher's teach of Him if they are not sent? As it is written, “Oh how beautiful are the feet of those who teach the good news of peace, who bring joyous announcements of good things.”
10:16 But yet, not all those who have heard the good news have obeyed it. Even as Yesh’yahu (Isaiah) spoke “Yahuweh who has believed our report?”
10:17 So then, faith comes by hearing and hearing comes by the word of Yahuweh.
So let’s start teaching the word of truth - and forsake the word of error. Let’s stop exchanging the truth for the lie, and begin eliminating and overcoming the lie with the truth.
All who love darkness do not come to the light. And all who love truth overcome the lie. No lie is of the truth. And all who worship Yahuweh must worship Him in Spirit and in truth.
Come out of her my people and be not partakers of her sins.
Israel is awakening to its redeemer and Jerusalem to her husband, to walk in His paths.
For out of Zion shall go forth the Torah and the word of Yahuweh from Jerusalem. Oh House of Ya’aqob (Jacob), come and let us walk in the light of Yahuweh.
Yahuweh, because of our sins, has scattered us among the nations. But to sanctify His great Name, He declared that He would bring us back from the nations to which we were scattered, and bring us back into our own land. Yahuweh has done as He has promised. He has brought us back from the nations and placed us back into the land promised to our fathers - Eretz Israel.
He has remembered His set-apart covenant which He made with our fathers Avraham, Yitz’chak (Isaac) and Ya’aqob (Jacob).
To the Torah and the Testimony, to the commandments of Torah, and to the Testimony of haMashiach Yeshua, if anyone does not speak according to these words, it is because they are full of darkness and have no light within them.
Arise O’Israel. Yahuweh has raised our nation from the grave, and Jerusalem from her tomb.
You, great Israel, have been reborn into life eternal, and are destined to be molded into the image of your Redeemer. Awake O’Israel and see Yeshua your King.
You have been raised from the grave for life eternal, and never again will the nations overcome you, but from you the government of the earth shall be established, and the nations of the earth ruled and blessed.
All nations rise to life, and wither in death, never to rise again. But you, O’Israel, have risen from your grave. You, O’Israel, are the first and only nation to have been raised from death. You, O’Israel, shall not see the second death, but have passed from death unto life.
Prepare to be purged and cleansed O’Israel, for Yahuweh has said, “…I will sprinkle clean water on you and you shall be clean.”
I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart, and put a new spirit within you. I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.
Awake O’Israel, for your Messiah has come - and shall come again. He came the first time to redeem us from our sins; but He will return the second time, with His redeemed ones, to conquer the nations who come against Jerusalem, and to rule the nations with a rod of iron.
Never again shall our enemies rule over us. Never again shall they prosper in our presence. But we, O’Israel, must repent of our unbelief, and receive Him who has redeemed us as His firstborn. To do His will, and to uphold His Torah, under the banner of Yeshua - the Lion of Yahudah (Judah).
We shall be led out of Egypt, even as Moshe led us out of Egypt in His 80th year.
And even as Moshe led us out of Egypt in his 80th year to enter the Promised Land, even so, in our 80th year, at the sound of the last shofar blast, on the 120th Jubilee, haMashiach Yeshua, likewise, shall lead us out of the Egypt of this world, and into the Promised Land, to make us into a nation of kings and of priests, a set-apart people, and a special treasure in all the earth.
Be patient my people and keep faith. For shall the earth be made to give birth in one day, or shall a nation be born at once? He who scattered Israel is gathering Israel, and will protect Israel as a Shepard does his flock.
For thus says Yahuweh to the dry bones, “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you and you shall live.” And if the casting away of Israel has brought the Way of atonement and justification to the world, then what will Yahuweh’s acceptance of Israel be - but life from the dead.
Hear now all you nations. Repent. For the time of this world is drawing to an end. And those who speak against the Torah shall be judged by the Torah, but those who uphold it - shall be redeemed.
The time is coming when not one building on the face of this earth will remain standing, and where not a single city will remain inhabited.
Jerusalem, and Jerusalem alone, will be exalted above the nations. And peace will flow from her as a river that restores life to the dry parched lands.
In that day the Name of Yahuweh shall be exalted among the nations, and the place of His dwelling magnificent and splendid above measure.
Wash your hands you sinners, and purify your hearts you luke-warm. Touch not the unclean thing and I will receive you, says Yahuweh.
Do not practice the customs of the secular, or pagan world around you, or Christianize their feasts; for the Feasts of Yahuweh are set-apart and undefiled, and He will not give His Splendor to another.
You cannot fellowship at the table of demons and at the table of Yahuweh. You cannot mix purity with contamination.
Therefore come out of her my people and keep My Sabbaths, My New Moons, and My Appointed Times and Feasts.
Forsake the traditions of the religious institutions around you - for they have become as the bride who has contaminated herself with adultery; and who has dipped her white garments into the blood of fornication and trampled on the instruction of her Father.
Come out of her My people that you be not partakers of her sins, for she has pursued the path of the unfaithful wife and forgotten the husband of her youth.
Trust in Yahuweh with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes, but fear Yahuweh and depart from evil.
Do not forsake My Torah (My Law), but retain My words in your heart. Obey My commandments and live. Obey them from your heart, for length of days, and long life, and peace, they will add to you.
For cursed is the one who trust in human wisdom, and who makes flesh their strength. For the human mind is deceptive above all things. Return now every one of you from your evil ways and make your ways and your doings good. For He has redeemed a people to Himself to produce good works, to be a light in this darkened generation.
Fear Yahuweh, not man or woman. Obey His commandments, for this is the whole duty of mankind; for Yahuweh is going to bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether it is good or whether it is evil; Kohelet (Ecclesiastes) 12:13,14.
Yahuweh has appointed His people unto good works, but the people of haSatan unto evil.
His salvation is not for all, but only for those who repent and overcome the darkness through the light. The Torah is light. Yeshua is light. And if we walk in the light as He is in the light, then the Blood of Yeshua cleanses us of all sins; I Yahchanan (I John) 1:6,7.
Arise O’Israel, for your Redeemer has come.
