THE RAPTURE LIE, 3-24-09 Edition

In this chapter we will be talking about the lie of the rapture, and about the truth of the resurrection.

To lay a foundation for this teaching, let us first establish some fundamental things crucial to the interpretation of Scripture and Prophecy.

First, it is important to understand that the Scriptures, including the good news (Gospel) written within them, are wholly and entirely Hebrew in thought, language and concept.

The second item important to understand is that the Messiah Yeshua (the proper Hebrew name for J-sus), who died on the execution stake for our violations of Torah (sin), was wholly and entirely Jewish Mattit'yahu (Matthew) 1:1-17 (Paternal line) & Luke 3:23-38 (Maternal line), and the King of the Jews. Mark 15:2,9,12,18,26.

The third item important to understand is that the stewardship of the good news (Gospel), that is, the responsibility of taking the good news of the Torah and the Testimony to the nations is the chief responsibility of the Jewish people.

As Yeshua states in Yahuchanan (John) 4:19-22, "Salvation is of the Jews", and as such, it is the chief responsibility of our people to preserve, to obey, and to teach, the Torah and the Testimony to ourselves, and to the nations around us.

And a fourth item important to understand is that all of the Emissaries (Apostles) were Jewish. That is, they were all either descendents of Judah, or Israelites who had returned from abroad to the faith of Avraham that had been revived through Moshe (Moses) and preserved by the Southern Kingdom of Judah.

In first century Israel people worked in the same community they lived. All of the Emissaries (Apostles), likewise, lived and worked in Israel. Yeshua, accordingly, found and appointed all His Emissaries (Apostles) in Israel. That is why the people of Judah (Yahudah) are called Jews (Yahudim), because they are either from the tribe of Judah, from one of the three tribes of the Southern Kingdom of Judah, or were one of the other 10 tribes of Israel that had returned, or a Gentile who had converted, to the faith of Avraham preserved by Judah who represented the covenants and headship of the nation of Israel.

So what exactly then was a Jew in the first century setting of Scripture?

He was a descendent of the tribe of Judah who practiced the faith of Avraham (a Hebrew), revived through Moshe (Moses), and preserved through the Hebrew kingdom nation of Judah up until the time of the destruction of the Temple in 70 ce, as well as anyone who attached themselves to Judah, and the faith of Avraham preserved by Judah.

And all who came to be associated with Judah, through this faith of Avraham preserved through Judah, became known as Jews (as Yahudim), regardless of what tribe or nation they came from initially.

After 70 ce, the faithful stewards of the faith were effectively extinguished and rooted out as a mainstream influence, and the faith of Avraham was divided into two new religions (even as King David‘s Kingdom was divided after Shlomo/Solomon), neither of which Yeshua, or the Emissaries (Apostles), or the former religion of the sages, taught.

The first new religion came out of the former faith which had been preserved by Judah. It was a religion that continued to uphold the Torah of Yahuweh, but which had ultimately, by 70 ce, completely rejected Yeshua as Messiah.

This rejection (which began its process at the beginning of Yeshua’s ministry), resulted in the expulsion of all openly professing leaders from out of the synagogues; and once this expulsion was complete, those once thriving assemblies of the faith became tombs for the unbelieving.

Likewise, approximately eight years after the resurrection (around 38 ce), this movement, which had been started by the Yeshua and the Emissaries (Apostles), began to grow a new branch, out of which came the second new religion distinguished by its profession of Yeshua as the Messiah, but which rejected the Torah as the standard for the community of believers.

This second movement was the result of the flood of Hellenistic Jews, and foreigners (gentiles) that entered into the community of believers after 38 ce, who were content with the Greek customs, culture, and lifestyles of the time that they had become accustomed to (much in the way that the modern Church has adopted American culture and values).

And who, though receptive to the concept of Yeshua as their Messiah, had no desire to change their lifestyles to conform to the standard of Torah passed down to us through our forefathers.

This unwillingness to completely convert to the faith of Avraham from their Hellenistic culture is reflected by the very name they attached to Yeshua; that is, by the Name of J-sus, which in Greek is pronounced "eaz-us" (y-sus), and which in Greek sounds nearly identical to the Greek phrase referring to "Z-us as healer"; but which in the Hebrew would translate, strangely enough, as "He’s a horse".

This is totally contrary to Yeshua‘s Hebrew Name, which in Hebrew means, "Yahuweh brings salvation" or "He brings salvation".

And why did these Greek converts refer to Yeshua with this foreign name, rather than by His Hebrew Name given to Him by Yahuweh Himself?

Z-us, like Yeshua, had power over weather, power to heal, and many other qualities similar to that manifested by Yeshua in His life; as such, it was natural to associate Yeshua, and His manifested supernatural abilities, to something they were already familiar with.

As human nature goes, they tended to relate everything about Yeshua to their own familiar Greek culture and religion, rather than to the foreign and unfamiliar Hebrew culture and religion that Yeshua and our forefathers represented to them. A problem we have to this very day.

This is because human nature, like water, flows by the path of least resistance; as such, the majority of gentiles just "naturally" continued in the path of least resistance through the path of hybrid religions that was so common place at that time.

But these religions did not teach or require repentance concerning Torah, but only conformation to human traditions that gave the appearance of holiness and obedience, and of good works as defined by the culture at hand, but which ultimately were opposed to and/or void of Yahuweh’s standard of holiness and obedience as defined by Torah.

So going back to these two religions that branched out here, the first new religion is known today as Judaism. And the second new religion is known today as Christianity.

Neither religion, today, represents accurately, in its entirety, the faith of Avraham, revived through Moshe, preserved by Yahudah, and perpetuated through Yeshua and the Emissaries (Apostles); for each only holds to half of the Gospel, but rejects the other half.

That is, Judaism understands the need to apply the Torah of Yahuweh as the standard of His people, but rejects Yeshua as the Messiah. And Christianity accepts Yeshua as the Messiah, but rejects the Torah of Yahuweh as the standard for His people.

And to make matters worse, Judaism has taken the Torah that they once held firmly to and have replaced it with the counterfeit torah of rabbinical rulings; and Christianity has taken the Messiah that they once held firmly to and replaced it with a counterfeit, Torahless Messiah. The result, these two religions between each other effectively replaced the Torah of Yahuweh, and the Testimony of Yeshua, with the traditions of men.

But the Gospel that these two religions teach today is not the Gospel that was taught to Avraham, to the sons of Israel in the wilderness, or by Yeshua and His Emissaries (His Apostles).

As it is written, "To the Torah and the Testimony, if anyone does not speak according to these words, it is because they have no light in them." Yesh’yahu (Isaiah) 8:16-20.

And as it is stated also in Revelation 12:17 and 14:12, that the remnant of faithful believers in this world are those who obey the mitzvot (commandments) of Yahuweh, and have the Testimony of Yeshua, the Son of Yahuweh, who died for the remission of sins past (violations of Torah past). Romans 3:25.

And the fifth and final important item to know is that the 144,000 spoken of in the Book of Revelation are all, likewise, Hebrews, and all from the 12 tribes of Israel (Revelation 7:1-8; 14:1-5); and that in the New Jerusalem, which comes down from above when the new earth is created, there are only 12 gates for entry into the city; one gate for each of the 12 tribes of Israel. There is no 13th tribe, or 13 gate, for the nations (the gentiles); Revelations 21:9-12.

This is because if you are a believer in Yeshua as the Messiah (as the Savior and King of Israel) and are a follower of the Torah (the legal code, instruction, and standard of Israel), then you have been grafted into the Olive Tree of Israel, and as such, have been given equal standing as a natural branch of the Olive tree, effectively causing you to no longer be a gentile (a foreigner/a person of the nations) Romans 11:1-24.

As the Emissary Shaul (the Apostle Paul) says in Ephesians 2:11,19

2:11 "You who were at one time people of the nations (gentiles) in the flesh..."

2:19 "...are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the separated ones, and members of the household of Yahuweh."

And as it is written, "The scepter shall not depart from Judah"; B‘resheet (Genesis) 49:9,10, and "out of Zion shall go forth the Torah"; Yesh’yahu (Isaiah) 2:2,3.

And where is Zion? It is in the city of Yerushalayim (Jerusalem).

Which is located where? It is located in the Southern Kingdom of Judah, in the Land of Israel.

And where is Judah listed in Revelation 7:5? It is listed at the head of the tribes. Why? Because Yeshua as a Jew, and as a descendent of Judah and teacher of the faith of Avraham, revived through Moshe (Moses), and preserved by the Kingdom of Judah, is the head of the body of the redeemed of Yahuweh.

That’s why the city of Jerusalem, the capital of Israel, is located where? In Judah; and why the Torah and the Scepter go out from there.

I want to make this very clear.

Understand that the Scriptures, in their entirety, are the Hebrew writings of the Jewish people.

That includes the books of Mattit’yahu (Matthew) through Revelation. And every single writer of Scripture was from the Southern Kingdom of Yahudah either by birth or by teshuvah (by returning to the faith associated with, and preserved by, Judah, up until the time of the resurrection).

It was written by Hebrews, for Hebrews, who in turn were to take it to the nations, to bring the nations to repentance through knowledge of the Torah (through the "Law" of Yahuweh), and to salvation, through the Testimony of the blood of the Messiah Yeshua, our Redeemer, for the remission of sins (of Torah violations) that are past; Romans 3:25.

That is, it is through revelation of the Torah and the Testimony. For the true people of Yahuweh are those who obey His mitzvot (His commandments), and who believe in the Testimony of the blood of His Son, the Messiah Yeshua; Revelations 12:17; 14:12.

Now please understand that nothing in this presentation is intended to place anybody in a bad light, it is only a fact that some bad things have occurred over the centuries concerning the Gospel that contemporary Christianity and Judaism are smack in the middle of.

The intent, as such, is not to divide Jews and Christians, but to cause both to realize that they have been handed down traditions and doctrines that are not entirely accurate, and that are sometimes even entirely invalid and/or heretical, and to recognize that according to the Gospel first preached among both Jews and the people of the nations (gentiles) in the 1st century ce, that all are called to be Israel; and as such, both are called to receive Yeshua for the remission of their Torah violations (sins) that are past, and both are to commit themselves to going and violating Torah no more (sinning no more).

Now, going on to give a little more understanding concerning Torah; Yahuweh’s Sabbaths, plural, are also part of the mitzvot (commandments) of His Torah, for His people; and the resurrection (redemption from death), not the “rapture”, are part of the Testimony of His Son.

So it is important to avoid placing ourselves under, and to remove ourselves from under, theological positions and/or doctrines that are in opposition to His instruction contained in Torah; for when we oppose Torah, then we, consequently, end up inadvertently opposing the very Messiah we claim to believe in and follow, for He taught Torah in its fullness, and was the ultimate expression and revelation of Torah manifest in the flesh. And it is a fearsome thing to be found in opposition to God while thinking we are in Him; Mattit’yahu (Matthew) 7:21-23.

Likewise, a compromised Gospel serves only to confuse the sheep of Yahuweh’s flock.

As representatives of the Holy Scriptures, and of our Holy God and Messiah, we cannot afford to be people-pleasers, to cater to the whims of the masses, or to tickle people’s ears with doctrines appealing to the fallen, self-centered nature; but have a responsibility to teach the uncompromisable word of Yahuweh in Truth, and without compromise. We are called to lead our flocks, not to allow our flocks to lead us. But this is the generation where the children rule the parents; Yesh’yahu (Isaiah) 3:4-12, and so it is likewise concerning the flocks with their Shepherds.

Our duty to Yahuweh, and to our neighbor, is to teach the pure, uncompromised Torah of Yahuweh, the Almighty Creator of the heavens and earth; and the Testimony of His Son, the Messiah Yeshua, our King and Redeemer.

It is to reach His people with His word; to allow His word to separate the sheep from the goats; and to encourage leaders to come out, and boldly, and courageously, do the same. And it is to oppose the works of this darkened world; and to oppose the polluted doctrines of the mainstream religions of this world which oppose the Truth of His Way, and of His salvation, the word of Almighty Yahuweh, and the Testimony of His Son.

It is our sacred duty to rebuke those who are leading millions of souls to their spiritual deaths through their corrupted presentations of the Truth of Yahuweh through all manner of unrighteousness and deception. Who teach the need to repent, without teaching how to repent. Who teach the need to obey God’s commandments, while teaching that His commandments are done away; and who teach in their place the traditions of men.

Who proclaim to be upholding His word, while at the same time opposing His word. Who teach the corrupted, contaminated feasts of Christ-mass, Isht-r (East-r), and Halloween, while opposing the pure unadulterated Feasts appointed by Yahuweh Himself, of Pesach, Unleavened Bread, Shavuot, Yom Teruach, Yom Kippur, Succot, and Shimini Atzeret.

Who teach that our Holy Messiah has sanctified the unholy pig as "food", while they themselves avoid salt and sugar, and saturated fats; and who would never consider eating a poisonous plant or vulture, while telling you that all things are "clean". Who teach nothing but the traditions of men in place of the commandments of God, as if their traditions were the word and commandments of God.

Preachers, Pastors, Shepherds, Elders, Rabbis, you must repent of these doctrines, for as well meaning as most of you are, the fact is that these doctrines are lies passed down through the centuries are lies fabricated by the Wicked One himself, designed by him to destroy the souls of many; but disguised by him as biblical, even as he has done from the beginning.

For as it is written in 2 Corinthians 11:14,15;

11:14 "...the Accuser himself presents himself as messenger of light...", and,

11:15 "...his servants as ministers of righteousness."

This brings us to one of the biggest lies of our generation, and that is the demonic lie of the “rapture”.

And I do not mean that there will not be a rapture. What I do mean is that the "rapture" that is being taught throughout mainstream religion today is a lie, and a deception, designed by the Accuser as a counterfeit of the resurrection for the purpose of catapulting the false messiah, and his false prophet, into power as savior of the world midway through the 7 year false covenant of peace made with Israel that allows Israel to rebuild the Temple and restart the sacrifices.

So be warned now, that the false messiah (the Beast) and false prophet will not be coming on the scene to oppose Christianity; but to pose as the "savior" of Christianity, as the "Messiah", and as "God"; II Thessalonians 2:3,4.

And that’s why I don’t call him the anti-Messiah, because he will not come to openly or clearly oppose Messiah, but to claim that he is the Messiah.

As such, the Beast will proclaim the Two Witnesses of Revelation 11, to be anti-Messiah, and will use their teaching of the Torah, and potentially the Temple sacrifices, as his evidence against them.

So make straight the paths of Yahuweh as one crying in the wilderness. Repent, all you inhabitants of the earth that you may receive remission of your sins (remission of your violations of Torah) and obtain life. Repent, and come out of her My people, that you partake not of her disasters. For Yahuweh in times past has momentarily closed His eyes to our ignorance, but now commands men everywhere to repent.

In Mattit'yahu, (Matthew) 24:29, 31 it is made very clear when Yeshua will return. It reads,

24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light, the stars will fall from heaven and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

24:30 Then the sign of the Son of Adam will appear in heaven; and then, all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Adam coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great splendor.

24:31 And He will send His Angels with a great blast of the Shofar, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

So the Scriptures state that Yeshua will return when? Immediately after the tribulation.

And it says He is going to send out His Angels to gather up His elect when? At the blast of the Shofar.

And the Shofar will be blown when? After the tribulation. Which ties into what verse?

In I Thessalonians 4:15-17 we read,

4:15 For this we say to you by the word of Yeshua, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of Yeshua will, under no circumstance, precede those who are asleep.

4:16 For Yeshua Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with a voice of the Archangel, and with the shofar of Yahuweh; and the dead in Messiah shall rise first.

4:17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be gathered up together with them in the clouds to meet Yeshua in the air...

And I Corinthians 15:52 says,

15:52 In a moment, in a twinkling of an eye, at the sound of the Last Shofar, for the shofar will blast, and the dead will be raised...

Then in II Thessalonians 2:8 it says,

2:8 ...that lawless one will be revealed, whom Yeshua will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.

So the Scriptures state that Yeshua’s return will be after the tribulation.

That at the blowing of the Last Shofar at the time of His return, the dead in Messiah shall rise first, and then those who are alive and remain shall be gathered up to join them in the air.

Then after these things the Beast and False Prophet will be consumed with the brightness of Yeshua’s coming, and be thrown into the Lake of Fire; II Thessalonians 2:8; Revelation 19:19,20.

And if the Beast has been consumed in the brightness of Yeshua’s coming then he cannot continue to rule, or to persecute any believers that have supposedly been left behind.

In fact, when Yeshua returns, the affairs of this world are all going to come to a very sudden, and abrupt, halt.

And isn’t amazing how every Scripture here just quoted states the exact opposite of what the lie of the "rapture" teaches.

The Scriptures just stated that Yeshua would come after the tribulation, but the "rapture" teaches that He comes in the middle of the 7 year covenant, and/or prior to the tribulation.

The Scriptures just stated that the dead shall be raised first, and then the living shall be gathered up second, to meet Yeshua in the air; and stated emphatically that the living shall not be gathered up before the dead are resurrected.

But the "rapture" doctrine teaches that Yeshua returns in the middle of the 7 year covenant and/or before the tribulation, and "raptures" up those who are alive at this coming prior to the resurrection of the dead.

The rapture lie, in fact, teaches nothing about the dead being resurrected at that time, and implies quite clearly that the dead are going to be raised up after the so-called "rapture" at some imaginary, non-scriptural, third coming.

But there is only one resurrection that occurs immediately preceding the Millennial Kingdom, and that is, at His coming, which occurs after the tribulation; and as it is written in I Thessalonians 4:15,

4:15 "this we say to you by the word of Yeshua, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of Yeshua will under no circumstance precede those who are asleep".

Likewise, the rapture lie states that my people, the Jewish people, are left behind because of their unbelief, so that the tribulation is there for them because of their unbelief.

I am Jewish, and I believe, and I fully expect to go through the tribulation, not because I do not believe that Yeshua is the Messiah, but to be a shining light in the world of darkness that will have the earth consumed at that time.

Yeshua suffered for us, and likewise, millions, if not billions, of believers from among both Jewish populations, and gentile (foreign) populations, over the last 2000 years, and all the way up to our current day, have suffered, and continue to suffer, for the One who died for them.

You believers in America today, do not think that you will be any different, for you have been, and are just as unfaithful to Messiah in your own way, as any who have suffered in the past have been.

And as it is written in Revelation 7:9,

7:9 ...behold, a great multitude which no one could number, from every foreign (from every gentile) nation, from every tribe of Israel, from every Hebrew speaking people, and from every foreign speaking people standing before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and with palm branches in their hands.

And again in Revelation 7:13,14;

7:13 Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, "Who are these clothed in white robes? And where did they come from?"

7:14 And I said to him "Sir, you know". So he said to me, "These are the ones who came out of the great tribulation..."

The tribulation is not for unbelievers, but for believers. It is the time of vengeance of the Wicked One against those who believe in the Testimony of the Son of Yahuweh, and who obey His commandments; Revelation 12:17; 14:12; Daniel 7:19-27.

And it is interesting that the rapture teaches that those who are left behind are left to go through the tribulation in order to purify them; that the tribulation is somehow necessary to purify them so that they can become "saints".

I say this is interesting because the vast majority of those who take this position are pretty impure and compromised in their own walks.

But it is also interesting because the beast is going to proclaim to be the Messiah, is possibly going to rapture up world leaders, is going to possibly come back down on this earth with those leaders to rule the earth under a new one world government; is, with certainty, going to declare all who do not conform, to be unbelievers and heretics; and is going to persecute these so called heretics until they either die or convert.

And that is why this is all so interesting, because that is what people, "in the name of God" have done over and over again to our people for centuries. They would take anyone who didn’t believe the way they do and would persecute them until they either died or converted; but yet, here it is again, the same message all over again; this time in the guise of "Rapture" theology.

So where is this lie of the rapture coming from? Why is it being taught? And why is it being taught as a separate event from the resurrection, and as a mid-covenant, pre-tribulation, event, and all so completely, and openly, contrary to the plain text of Scripture? And finally, why is it so popular?

Nothing about Yahuweh is ever popular with mainstream religion. The fact that it is the predominant end-time doctrine of the day should be enough to tell a person it is a lie. The truth is never popular with the mainstream, ever.

II Corinthians 4:4 refers to the Accuser, as the god of this world.

In Mattit'yahu (Matthew) 4:8 this "Accuser" offers all the kingdoms of this world to Yeshua, if Yeshua would only bow down and worship him.

In Revelation 12:9 it says that the Accuser deceives the whole world.

And, as stated earlier in II Corinthians 11:14,15; that the Accuser can present himself as a messenger of light, and his ministers as servants of righteousness.

The Scriptures state that the Accuser deceives the whole world. And how did he deceive Adam and Havah (Eve)? He did it by misrepresenting Scripture; and when he attempted to deceive Yeshua in Mattit'yahu (Matthew) 4:8, he attempted to do it how? He attempted it by misrepresenting Scripture.

The Scriptures declare the "Accuser" to be the father of all lies; Yahuchanan (John) 8:44, and the Scriptures declare the "rapture" doctrine to also be a lie.

Does that mean that it is not going to happen? No. Of course it is going to happen. The "Accuser" doesn’t create lies out of boredom, or out of lack of things to do. He doesn’t create them to amuse himself.

He creates lies for one reason, and for one reason only; to deceive, to steal, to destroy, and to exalt himself against God at the expense of all those around him.

He lies because there is no truth in him; and lies in order to cast down the truth so that he may be exalted. And to accomplish the purpose of self-exaltation, he will lie, and murder, and steal, and destroy, to no end, until he himself is destroyed; Yahuchanan (John) 10:10.

So why then is the "rapture" taught as a separate event from the resurrection? Because the "Accuser" cannot resurrect anybody from the dead, so in its place of it, he must produce a counterfeit of the resurrection through the so called "Rapture" doctrine.

Government is said to be as much as 20 years ahead in technology over anything that we see in the marketplace; and in light of the rapid advancement of technology it is not difficult to conceive of a counterfeit "gathering up" of world religious leaders and followers through some kind of superior aero-nautical or levitation device.

The absence of a visual "resurrection" before this rapture could likewise be explained away, as Islam teaches, as a spiritual event that could not be seen with the naked eye.

That Wicked One could also conceivably arrive in the clouds of the sky with a host of UFO’s, or with some other type of aeronautical device over the largest of cities, and cause the event to be televised throughout the world.

All things of which would cause amazement in those who do not believe the testimony of the Two Witnesses in Revelation 11. But which, in fact, will be nothing compared to the true event of the Second Coming.

And if the rapture is something that can be potentially counterfeited through advanced technology, then why in the timing of mid-covenant/pre-tribulation? Why is the pre-tribulation rapture doctrine most commonly taught to occur in the middle of the 7 year covenant, and/or prior to the tribulation; and why is it the view that is promoted the most?

Because it is in the middle of the 7 year covenant, and just prior to the tribulation, that prophecy states the Beast is going to arise and kill the Two Witnesses of Yahuweh; Daniel 9:27; Revelation 11:3-7, and when the Beast will stand in the Temple of Yahuweh; Daniel 8:9-12; 11:31; II Thessalonians 2:3,4; Mattit'yahu (Matthew) 24:15-20, and proclaim himself to be the "God"; Daniel 11:36,37, and proclaim the Two Witnesses to be anti-Messiah.

This in turn will result in a great tribulation against the "Saints"; Daniel 7:25; 8:23,24; Revelation 12:17;13:4-7, who, according to the rapture lie, are "Jews" that are "left behind" because of their unbelief, so that through tribulation they can come to believe in Christ, while the lukewarm and unfaithful Church of today, because of their verbal acknowledgment of Christ, gets the easy way out; though in its works they deny Him.

And indeed, the tribulation will purify many people, but not because they were "left behind"; Daniel 12:10, but in order to separate the wheat from the chaff, the holy from the unholy, the righteous from the wicked, the sheep from the goats.

The tribulation is what will knock people off the fence and cause them to have to make a clear choice for Yahuweh, or for the Accuser.

It is the time where believers will shine at their brightest in the time where the world will be at its darkness.

However, the tribulation is actually composed of two time spans covering a 7 year period that will begin and end at the same time as the 7 year covenant so that they run in parallel to each other.

The first of the two phases is a 1260 day period, which will be the period of tribulation against the world due to its rejection of the testimony of the Two Witnesses; Revelation 11:3-7, during which time the "holy" people, the saints, will be protected and prospering in many great ways; Revelation 12:6.

This will be followed by the second phase, which will be 42 moon cycles in length. It will be the tribulation against the "holy" people, it will be the time of persecution against the "saints"; Revelation 13:5, and where the sanctuary shall be trampled underfoot by the nations (by the gentiles) after the false fessiah kills the Two Witnesses; Revelation 11:1; 13:5-7.

The first 1260 day period is tribulation for the world because of the Testimony of the Two Witnesses of Revelation 11; and the second, 42 moon period, is tribulation on the community of believers who obey the commandments of Yahwueh; Revelation 12:17; 14:12, because of the rise of the beast into power through the killing of the Two Witnesses, and through the deception of the rapture.

II Thessalonians 2:3,4 states,

2:3 Let no one deceive you in any way, for that day will not come, except the apostasy from truth comes first, and that man of Torah violation (sin) is revealed, the son of destruction;

2:4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called on as deity or that is worshipped, so that he will sit in the Temple of Yahuweh presenting himself as God.

So how do we know this is in the middle of the 7 year period?

Because Revelation 11:3-7 states,

11:3 I will give power to My Two Witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1260 days.

This is a period of three and one-half years.

11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the Creator of the earth.
