Messianic Judaism - The Torah and the Testimony Revealed

Many of those who have entered into the Messianic movement have come to learn about the original way the appointed times of Scripture were kept through the sighting of the New Moon relative to the harvest cycles, beginning with the Barley harvest. Is what many do not know yet is that our current 365 day solar year, with its 12 to 13 annual 29.5 day long moon cycles, is going to be restored back to its original 360 day length made up of 12 annual 30 day moon cycles.

In this teaching, you will learn that the keeping of the Appointed Times through the sighting of the New Moons in Israel relative to the harvest is not the end of the restoration of moon cycles; but the beginning. That the calendar as we know it is soon to change in a very dramatic way, and that the solar year is going to shorten.

From the striking of the Earth by a meteor, to massive Earth wide fires, to the rocking of the Earth on its axis, the Earth as we know it is soon to prepare its surface for the coming of our Great King, Yeshua, and of the establishment of His and His Father's Kingdom.

Deceptions beyond comprehension will be created, and only those who both obey the commandments of Torah, and believe the Testimony of Yeshua, will have any chance of recognizing the deceptions for what they are, and of avoiding their lure.

Ancient religions were known to worship 360 gods, one god for each day of the year; likewise, a circle is made up of 360 degrees. So where did these concepts arise? And how did the Earth's orbital circle around the sun come to be 365.25 (days) long instead of 360?

Prior to the flood there was only the summer season, but after the flood a Summer and Winter season; B'resheet (Genesis) 8:22, which man further divided into seasons of Spring and Fall.

Why?

Then there are the 29.5 day moon cycles that fail to go into the 365.25 day solar year evenly. Is this consistent with the designs of a perfect Creator who is harmonious in all His ways? Or did the flood cause changes in the earth and it orbit that would need to be corrected before Yahuweh can restore His perfect Kingdom to the earth?

Creation scientists believe that, prior to the flood, the Earth was surrounded by a canopy of ice that kept the Earth at a constant temperature throughout. Part of the evidence supporting this is the abundance of tropical plants, and millions of tropical animals, that can be found buried under the ice of the North and South poles.

Creation scientists believe that this canopy of ice was shattered by a meteor which caused the ice to fall through the atmosphere and melt into rain contributing to the flood of Noah's day.

As it is written, "...and the windows of heaven were opened..."; B'resheet (Genesis) 7:11,12.

And that it is this strike by the meteor that caused the Earth to tilt on its axis causing the seaon of Winter to come into existence.

This tilt of the Earth caused the Earth to fall into its current orbital wobble around the sun increasing the solar year by 5.25 days; and effected the relation of the moon's orbit around the Earth, causing its cycle to be reduced by 1/2 day.

It has likewise been mathematically and conceptually demonstrated that if the Earth were spinning straight up and down on it axis, instead of at it current tilt, that the Earth's orbit around the sun would indeed be precisely 360 days, and the orbit of the moon around the earth, 30 days, causing each solar year to consists of precisely 12 moon cycles.

This would cause a precise harmony to exist between the cycles and orbits of the Earth, moon, and sun that would be consistent with the character and designs of a perfect and harmonious Creator.

But can these matters be supported Scripturally? The answer is a resounding Yes! And the evidence is found predominantly in the Scriptures describing the events of the end, and showing how these cycles will be restored prior to Yeshua's return during the 7 year covenant of Daniel's last week.

Concerning the 70th week, it is written as follows in Daniel 9:27,

9:27 Then the one of great authority shall confirm a covenant for a week, but in the middle of the week he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And with overspreading armies, and the repulsive idol that causes amazement, he will bring destruction; even until the utter destruction which has been determined is poured out upon the destroyer.

This one of great authority who confirms the covenant comes out of Rome.

As it is written in Daniel 9:26,

9:26 ...And the people of the one of great authority who is to come, shall destroy the city and the sanctuary...

The people who destroyed the city and the sanctuary in 70 CE were the Romans. Therefore the one of great authority who is to come, comes out of Rome.

This one of great authority comes as a peacemaker for Israel, for it is through this 7 year covenant of his that he makes possible building of the Temple with its sacrifices, despite being surrounded by our sworn enemies.

As it is written in Revelation 11:1,2;

11:1 Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the Messenger stood, saying "Rise and measure the Temple of Elohim, the altar, and those who worship there.

11:2 But leave out the court which is outside the Temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the nations. And they will tread the set-apart city under foot for forty-two moons."

However as Daniel 9:27 says, he breaks his covenant with Israel mid-way through to prepare the way for the destroyer, who we would identify as the beast.

And as it is written in Revelation 11:3-7 and 13:4,

11:3 And I will give power to My two witnesses, and they will prophesy 1260 days clothed in sackcloth.

11:4 These are the two olive trees and the two menorahs standing before the Master of the earth.

11:5 And if anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouth and devours their enemies. And if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this manner.

11:6 These have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all calamities, as often as they desire.

11:7 Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them.

And,

13:4 ...they worshipped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshipped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?"

And he will destroy Yahuweh's people.

As it is written in Daniel 7:19-21,25 and 8:23-25,

7:19 Then I desired to know the truth about the fourth animal, which was different from all the others, exceedingly terrifying, with its teeth of iron and its nails of bronze, which devoured, broke in pieces, and trampled the residue with his feet.

7:20 And about the ten horns that were on its head, and about the other horn which came up, before which three fell, namely, that horn which had eyes and a mouth which spoke huge domineering words, whose appearance was greater than his fellows.

7:21 I was watching, and this same horn was making war against the pure and uncontaminated people of Yahuweh, and prevailing against them...

7:25 ... He shall speak words against the Most High, shall wear out the pure and uncontaminated people of the Most High, and shall intend to change times and law. Then the pure and uncontaminated of Yahuweh shall be given into his hand for a time, times, and a half a time.

8:23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the apostate have reached their fullness, a king shall arise having a fierce countenance, and who understands dark schemes.

8:24 His power shall be mighty, but not by his own power. He shall cause tremendous destruction, and shall prosper and thrive. He shall destroy the mighty, and the pure and uncontaminated people of Elohim.

8:25 And through His cunning he shall cause deceit to prosper under his hand. And he shall exalt himself in his mind. He shall destroy many in their prosperity. He shall even rise against the Prince of princes. But he shall be broken without human hand.

And the beast shall bring an end to the sacrifices and offerings.

As it is written in Daniel 8:9-12, and 11:30,31

8:9 And out of them grew a little horn which grew exceedingly great towards the South, towards the East, and towards the Splendid Land.

8:10 And it grew up to the armies of the sky, and it cast down some of the armies and some of the stars to the ground and trampled them.

8:11 He even exalted himself as high as the chief of the armies, and by him the daily sacrifices were taken away, and the place of the sanctuary was cast down.

8:12 And an army was provided to him to oppose the daily sacrifices through a revolt; and he cast truth down to the ground. And he practiced and prospered.

And,

11:30 ... ships from the western lands, from the direction of Cyprus, shall come against him. Therefore he shall be depressed, and return in rage against the set-apart covenant. So shall he do, and he shall return and instruct those who forsake the set-apart covenant.

11:31 And armed forces shall stand on his behalf. And they will break into the fortified place of the sanctuary, and then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the repulsive idol that causes amazement and destruction.

The Scriptures defines truth as,

Yahuweh's word; Yahchanan (John) 17:17

Yahuweh's Torah: Tehillim (Psalms) 119:142

Yahuweh's commandments: Tehillim (Psalms) 119:151

Yahuweh's Son, Yeshua: Yahchanan (John) 14:6

And the beast is against the truth, against Yahuweh's word, His Torah, His commandments, and His Son, though he himself will be claiming the status of God.

As it is written in II Thessalonians 2:1-10,

2:1 Now brethren, concerning the coming of our Master, haMashiach Yeshua, and our gathering together to Him, we ask you,

2:2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Messiah had already come.

2:3 Let no man deceive you under any circumstance, for the day of Messiah's coming will not come until the great falling away comes first, and the man of Torah violation is revealed, the son of destruction.

2:4 Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called god, or that is worshipped, so that he sits as Elohim in the Temple of Elohim, demonstrating himself to be God.

2:5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you that I told you these things?

2:6 And now you know Who is restraining him, so that he may be revealed in his proper time.

2:7 For the mystery of Torahlessness is already at work; and He who is now restraining will continue restraining only until he comes up in the middle.

2:8 And then the Torahless one will be revealed, whom the Master will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.

2:9 Whose arrival is according to the energy of haSatan (the Accuser), with all power, signs, and deceiving miracles.

2:10 And with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth that they might be saved.

Daniel 11:36,

11:36 Then the king shall do according to his own will. He shall exalt and magnify himself above every god, shall speak blasphemies against the Elohim of gods, and shall prosper till the wrath (of Yahuweh) is brought to pass...

Revelation 13:5-7,

13:5 And he was given a mouth speaking huge and domineering words and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for 42 moons.

13:6 Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against Yahuweh, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven.

13:7 And it was given to him to make war with the pure and uncontaminated people of Yahuweh, and to overcome them. And authority was given to him over every race, language, and nation.

And he was given authority to continue 42 moons. Your Scriptures will say 42 months, but I will show you why the months is not correct translation.

The Scriptures state the covenant will be 7 years long; Daniel 9:27. Under our current Solar year of 365.25 days, this would equal 2557 days.

The Scriptures state that the 2 witnesses will give their testimony for 1260 days. Revelation 11:3.

And the Scriptures state that the beast, after killing the two witnesses, will rule for 42 months; Revelation 13:5. At an average of 30.4375 days per Gregorian month this comes to a total of 1278 days.

But we have a problem here, because when you take the 1260 days of the first half of the 2557 day (7 year) covenant, and add it to the 1278 days (42 months) of the second half of the covenant, you arrive at a total of 2358 days. This is 19 days short of the 2557 required to complete the 7 year period.

The sum total of the first and second halves of the covenant should be equal to the total number of days in the 7 year covenant.

And likewise, why is it that the 1st half of the covenant is referred to by days, but the 2nd half by months?

The answer is clear, because the calendar during the 1st half is being changed back to its original form existing prior to the flood, and so must be referred to by days to be able to accurately track the time of the testimony of the two witnesses of Yahuweh, among other things.

And by the time the 2nd half of the covenant arrives this change is complete and so can be referred to by moons again. Thus the 42 month of the reign of the beast should not be referred to by months, but as moons.

In the Hebrew, the word translated as month is the same Hebrew word translated as moon, indicating that the difference between a month and a moon is a manmade one introduced to compensate for the changes made in the orbit of the moon around the earth after the flood, and to artificially make each year into 12 cycles of equal length in the Gregorian calendar.

But at the time this was written, Israel was still calculating the calendar by moon cycles, and the Gregorian in use today had not yet been invented.

But in the end, the original meaning of moon will be restored so when Revelation states that the beast will rule for 42 months, it is literally 42 moons that is meant.

Let me continue to demonstrate.

In B'resheet (Genesis) 7:11,12 concerning the flood it is written,

7:11 In the 600th year of Noah's life, in the second moon, the 17th day of the moon, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows in the sky were opened.

7:12 And it rained on the earth 40 days and 40 nights.

But concerning the end times it is also written in Revelation 8:8 and Yesh'yahu (Isaiah) 24:18b-20,

8:8 Then the second Messenger sounded, and something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood.

8:9 And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.

24:18b the windows from on high will be opened, and the foundations of the earth shaken.

24:19 the earth will be violently broken, the earth will be split open, the earth will be shaken exceedingly.

24:20 The earth shall reel forwards and backwards like a drunkard, and shall totter like a hut. Its rebellion shall be heavy upon it, and it will fall and not rise again.

These passages describe precisely the events that would take place in the process of the earth being restored to it previous orbit, and to the repositioning of its poles back to true North and South.

This will happen in order to prepare the way for the Millennial Kingdom, and by restoring its proper orbit, and its original worldwide tropical climate; it will in effect reverse the effects of the flood and begin restoring the earth back to its former Paradise. However, this transition back will first cause tremendous earthquakes, floods, and fires before that process is complete.

And when we take the resulting 360 day years and 30 day moon cycles that are restored as a result of these events and plug them into the formula of the 7 year covenant we obtain the following results:

7 years X 360 days = 2520 days

The first half of the covenant where the two witnesses prophecy is 1260 days.

The second half of the covenant where the beast rules is 42 moons composed of 30 days each, for another total of 1260 days.

The 1260 days of the first half of the covenant, plus the 1260 days of the second half of the covenant, equals 2520 days.

The moon cycles and sun cycles are now echad, in perfect harmony.
This means that the 1260 days of the two witnesses, and the beginning of the 7 year covenant, will be initiated on the same day.

And because the resurrection is appointed to occur on Yom Teruach, and the Millennial Kingdom is appointed to occur on Yom Kippur of the 120th Jubilee from Adam in Fall of 2027, (See our Time Line 1, The 6000 Years from Adam to Yeshua) then the 7 year covenant must, likewise, be initiated either on Yom Teruach or on Yom Kippur.

This also means that the two witnesses will be killed within 30 days of Pesach, and that the beast, after killing them, will enter into the Temple on Pesach to proclaim himself to be God at this midway point into the covenant.

We also know that according to Daniel 8:13,14 that beginning from the time of the sacrifices, and extending through the time that the repulsive idol that causes amazement is set up, and through the time that the sanctuary is cleansed, will be a total of 2300 evenings and mornings. This cleansing can only take place upon removal of the repulsive idol from the sanctuary which will only be able to be done by Yeshua Himself.

So counting back 2300 days from His coming at the end of the 2520 day (7 year) period, we end up at a completion of the Temple and renewal of the sacrifices 220 days after the covenant has been initiated.

If an Adar Bet (a second 12th Moon "13th moon") occurs in this first year of the 7 year covenant, and Yom Teruach begins in September of the previous year, and Pesach occurs in the following Apr-l, then 220 days would cause the Temple to be rebuilt and the sacrifices to be renewed during Pesach season in this first year of the 7 year covenant. If these conditions are not met, then it is possible that the sacrifices will begin on Shavuot (Pentecost). In either case, the sacrifices will begin either on Pesach, or on Shavuot.

So the covenant would be made on Yom Teruach or Yom Kippur, the Temple and sacrifices would be back in service for the first time in almost 2000 years for the following Pesach. Then 3 Pesach seasons later in the middle of the covenant, the beast would kill Yahuweh's two witnesses, enter into the Temple and end the sacrifices, proclaim himself to be God and Messiah, and set up the repulsive idol that causes amazement and destruction.

Then 1260 days later on Yom Teruach the righteous dead would be resurrected, and on Yom Kippur, Yeshua would return with the resurrected to reign in His Millennial Kingdom over the earth.

During the time of this covenant, both Yahudah (Judah) and Ephraim will be back in the Land of Israel; Yechezk'el (Ezekiel) 35:10; 37:22, the Temple will be standing; Revelation 11:1,2; the beast, posing as the Messiah, who will very possibly be of the lineage of David, will come on stage as a peace maker for Israel; Daniel 9:27, and as a conquering king; II Thessalonians 2:3,4; Revelation 13:4 and the prophecy of Yechezk'el (Ezekiel) 37:15-26 will appear to have been fulfilled; and many will be deceived because of these things into believing that the beast is truly Elohim.

As it is written concerning Yeshua's return in Yechezk'el (Ezekiel) 37:15-26,

37:15 Again, the word of Yahuweh came to me saying,
37:16 "As for you, son of man, take a stick for yourself and write on it, 'For Yahudah (Judah) and for the children of Israel, his companions.' Then take another stick and write on it, 'For Yoseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel, his companions.' "

37:17 "Then join them one to another for yourself into one stick, and they will become one in your hand."

37:18 "And when the children of your people speak to you, saying, 'Will you not show us what you mean by these?' "

37:19 "say to them, 'Thus says Yahuweh, Adonai, surely I will take the stick of Yoseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel, his companions, and I will join them with it, with the stick of Yahudah, and make them one stick; and they will be one in My hand.' "

37:20 "And the sticks on which you write will be in your hand before their eyes."

37:21 "Then say to them, 'Thus says Yahuweh Adonai, surely I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, wherever they have gone, and will gather them from every side and bring them into their own Land.' "

37:22 "And I will make them one nation in the Land, on the mountains of Israel; and one King shall be king over them all. They shall no longer be two nations [Yechezk'el (Ezekiel) 35:10)], nor shall they ever be divided into two kingdoms again."

37:23 "They shall not defile themselves anymore with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions. But I will deliver them from all their dwelling places in which they have violated Torah, and will cleanse them. Then they shall be My people, and I will be their Elohim."

37:24 "David My Servant shall be King over them, and they shall all have one Shepherd. They shall also walk in My judgments and observe My statutes and do them."

37:25 "Then they shall dwell in the Land that I have given to Ya'aqov My servant, where your fathers dwelt; and they shall dwell there; they, their children, and their children's children, forever. And My Servant David shall be their Sar forever."

37:26 "Moreover, I will make a covenant of peace with them, and it shall be an everlasting covenant with them. I will establish them and multiply them, and I will set My sanctuary in their midst forevermore."

This is what the beast, the false messiah, will counterfeit; but as it is written in Mattit'yahu (Matthew) 24:23-27:

24:23 ...if anyone says to you, "Look, here is the Messiah, or there!" Do not believe it.

24:24 For the false messiah and false prophet will arise and will perform great signs and miracles, so as to deceive, if possible, even the elect. [Revelation 13:11-14]

24:25 See, I have told you beforehand.

24:26 Therefore if they say to you, "Look, He is in the desert!" do not go out. Or "Look, He is in the inner chamber [of the Temple!" [II Thessalonians 2:4] do not believe it.

24:27 For as the lightning comes from the East and flashes to the West, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Thus concludes this study on the restoration of the 360 day solar year and 30 day moon cycles. Be watchful, be ready, and beware. And understand, the false and unfaithful brothers and rulers in Scripture always precede the true and faithful brothers and rulers.
